The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."
The thought
This is before anything is broken. Nothing has gone wrong yet. And God looks at a person by himself and says this isn't good. Which means the ache you feel when you're alone isn't you being needy or dramatic or weak. It's design. It's the part of you that God built to need other people doing exactly what it was built to do. Loneliness is not proof that something's wrong with you. It's proof that something's missing — and those are two completely different things.
Think about it
When you feel alone, what does your brain tell you it means about you? Is that actually true?
